Prudential Golf Charity
|
As part of Prudential Singapore's 80th anniversary celebrations this year, the company supported Prudential Golf Charity to aid National Cancer Centre Singapore's cancer research efforts. Organised by Agency Force Alliance (AFA), the event was held on 27 September 2011 at Tanah Merah Country Club. It raised an impressive $250,000 for NCC Research Fund through the generous support of the company's partners and business associates. Enthusiastic golfers enjoyed the sporting camaraderie at the luxurious Tampines Course of the exclusive club and capped their day of golfing fun with a fine dinner that featured good music and attractive prizes. The evening's highlights included the presentation of the cheque of $250,000 by Prudential Singapore's Chief Executive Officer Kevin Holmgren to Guest-of-Honour Professor Tan Ser Kiat, Group Chief Executive Officer of SingHealth. Professor Tan also helped to present the tournament prizes as well as tokens of appreciation to Eastspring Investments (Singapore) Limited (formerly known as Prudential Asset Management (Singapore) Limited prior to 14 February 2012) who participated as a Platinum Sponsor for the event and Tote Board who was a Gold Sponsor. While no one walked away with the hole-in-one prizes of an Audi A7 and a suite of Rimowa bags, the top three players were awarded tournament trophies and prizes while other guests won lucky draw prizes that ranged from shopping vouchers to golf bags and accessories. |
