  • The assurance of a lump sum payout
    In the event of Death, Terminal Illness1 or Disability1, a lump sum payment of the sum assured will be provided to your loved ones.
     
  • Accidental Death Benefit
    Upon Accidental Death2, rest assured that your loved ones will receive a payout of the sum assured to help them cope with the sudden loss.
     
  • Accidental Hospital Care Benefits
    Get the care and treatment you need in the event of an accident. Our Accidental Daily Hospital Income2,3 covers up to $150 per day for hospitalisation4. If you are unable to return to work after hospitalisation4, the Post-hospitalisation Recuperation Benefit2,5 pays up to $300 for each week6 that you are certified to be unable to engage in your own occupation, business or activity.
     
  • Loyalty Benefit7
    As long as your PRUtermplus advantage policy remains active, you can look forward to a 10% discount on the first year premium when you purchase selected regular premium Prudential policies8 for yourself, your spouse or your child, upon major events9.

    If you have not made a claim10 in the first 5 years of the basic policy, the sum assured of the following benefits will be doubled from the 6th to 10th year of the policy:

* Terms and conditions:
1 Definitions:
  1. Eligible Product means any of the following products:
    1. PRUtermplus advantage; and
    2. Crisis Cover Advantage
       
  2. Eligible Customer means any person who is a full time employee and has attended a corporate marketing seminar conducted by a Prudential Financial Consultant or Representative at the premises of that person’s workplace.
     
  3. First Year Premiums mean, in relation to the Eligible Product, the aggregate of all premiums due and payable for its first policy year.
     
  4. Prudential means Prudential Assurance Company Singapore (Pte) Limited.
     
  5. Promotion means the Exclusive Promotion for PRUtermplus advantage.
     
  6. Promotion Period means the period between 9 March 2012 and 23 April 2012 (both days inclusive).
     
  7. PRUprestige Customers means such policyholders of Prudential who are included in Prudential’s PRUprestige programme and includes such policyholders’ family members nominated under Prudential’s PRUprestige programme.
     
  8. Non-PRUprestige Customers means any person who is not a PRUprestige customer as at the date of submitting the proposal for the Eligible Product.
2 Any Eligible Customer who submits a proposal to Prudential for the purchase of any of the Eligible Products during the Promotion Period will, provided that the Eligible Product is incepted on or before 23 April 2012, receive discounts on the First Year Premium for the respective Eligible Product as set out in the Promotion Table above.
3 Any Eligible Customer who purchases an Eligible Product during the Promotion Period shall pay the applicable discounted First Year Premium in respect of the Eligible Product.

The Promotion is applicable to all premium payment modes (monthly, quarterly, half-annually and annually).
5 Notwithstanding any provision to the contrary contained in these terms and conditions, in order for PRUprestige Customers to enjoy the discounts as provided in the Promotion Table above, the premiums for the relevant Eligible Products have to be paid annually, in advance. For the avoidance of doubt, the discounts in the Promotion Table include the discounts applicable under the PRUprestige programme.
6 This Promotion is not valid in conjunction with any other promotions carried out by Prudential, unless otherwise permitted by Prudential in its sole and absolute discretion.
7 Prudential has the right to use all information collected in connection with this Promotion for the operation and marketing of Prudential’s products and services. By signing up for this promotion, consent is given for the use of all information collected by Prudential in connection with this promotion for the operation and marketing of Prudential’s products and services.
8 All decisions made by Prudential in connection with this Promotion (including the interpretation of terms and conditions of this Promotion) shall be final and binding on all persons participating in the Promotion. No appeals will be entertained.
9 Prudential shall have the sole and absolute discretion to exclude any person from participating in the Promotion, without providing any reason and without prior notice.
10 Prudential reserves the right, in its sole and absolute discretion, to terminate, cancel or suspend the Promotion or to vary the terms and conditions of this promotion at any time without notice and without assigning any reason whatsoever.

Footnotes:

1 PRUtermplus advantage provides coverage against Accelerated Terminal Illness and Accelerated Disability during the term of the policy and before the anniversary of the policy on which the life assured will attain the age of 65. We will pay for either the Accelerated Terminal Illness or the Accelerated Disability Benefit but not both.
2 If the accidental death or injury is caused by a hazardous activity or sports conducted legally and under the supervision of a licensed organisation, the benefit payable will be reduced accordingly.
3 Accidental Daily Hospital Income benefit covers up to a maximum of 14 days per accident.
4 The hospitalisation must be due to an accident.
5 Post-Hospitalisation Recuperation benefit covers up to a maximum of 8 weeks per accident. This benefit will cease on the Policy Anniversary immediately before the life assured turns 65 years old.
6 If the disability does not extend for the full 7 days, we pay a pro-rated amount of the benefit.
7 The 10% discount is applicable before the expiry date of the policy and for a maximum of 2 new policies per event, up to a maximum of $10,000 annual premiums, including additional premiums for supplementary benefits. The new policies must be taken up within 3 months of the event.
8 The list of eligible products is available on www.prudential.com.sg.
9 The major events include marriage, childbirth, adopting a child through legal means, divorce and death of a spouse.
10 A claim under Crisis Cover Advantage will not affect the No Claim Bonus.
11 A claim under Angioplasty and Other Invasive Treatment for Coronary Artery will not activate the Premium Waiver benefit.

Buying life insurance is a long-term commitment. An early termination of the policy usually involves high costs and the surrender value payable may be less than the total premiums paid.
