Decarbonising our portfolio
Prudential is supporting the low-carbon transition with a pledge to become a net zero asset owner by 2050, which involves careful management of our investment funds to strategically reduce the total carbon footprint of these investments. We have surpassed our target to reduce the Weighted Average Carbon Intensity (WACI) by 25% by 2025.

Our approach to decarbonisation is one which supports sustainable growth and takes into consideration the impact on the economies, businesses and customers in markets where we invest in.
Responsible environmental practices
We recognise the importance of reducing the environmental impact of our operations as a part of our decarbonisation efforts. We are contributing to our broader Group goal to become carbon neutral across our operations by 2030. This includes improving the efficiency of our energy usage at all our office spaces.
