Prudential Assurance Company Singapore (Pte) Limited (“Prudential Singapore”) is celebrating 20 years of innovation in the realm of Investment-Linked Life Insurance Policies (ILPs). The company was the first life insurer to launch a comprehensive suite of ILPs in Singapore in 1992 which changed the playing field for the life insurance industry. Today, Prudential Singapore has an ILP portfolio that comprises of around $8.1 billion of funds under management and it continues to be a prominent player in this category.
Continuing in the tradition of innovation and leadership in the ILP space, Prudential Singapore introduces PRUInvest, a first-to-market portal to enhance the customer experience for Single Premium Investment-Linked Life Insurance Policies (SPILPs) customers. The development of the portal is in line with Prudential Singapore's commitment to enhance customer experience and provide best-in-class services. It offers customers convenient access to their fund portfolios and the ability to instantly top-up on their eligible SPILPs wherever they have online access. On top of that, they also get rewarded with bonus units when they use the portal for their top-ups.

We've designed this portal to enhance the customer experience and to give customers the benefit of being able to manage their portfolios conveniently. Here, customers can have easy access to essential information which they need to make informed decisions about their investments. The portal's 24-hour accessibility gives customers the flexibility to react to market fluctuations and the ability to choose funds that they would like their premiums to be allocated to. Available at no charge to customers, the portal also has strict security features, which means customers have peace of mind when they manage their transactions online.
PRUInvest further strengthens the suite of services that Prudential Singapore offers to its customers. In 2011, Prudential Singapore introduced Portfolio Solutions together with Mercer Investment Consulting, a leading provider of investment consulting services. Portfolio Solutions helps ILP customers draw up recommended model portfolios based on the customer's specific risk profiles. It helps customers stay abreast of market developments via quarterly market and model portfolio reports. Along with Portfolio Solutions, PRUInvest gives customers immediate and continuous access to their portfolios and arms them with the necessary information to make the best decisions about their investments.
