Hello Mae! Tell us what you do at Prudential.

I shape the culture at work through helping employees understand our Purpose and enabling them with the know-how on living our Values. Getting the culture right enables us to deliver against our aspirations and strategic initiatives.

What’s a typical work day like for you?

No day is the same for me, some days I’m running organizational wide workshops to sustain culture and organizational health through values-guided behaviours, other days I’m analysing data from Employee Engagement & Values Surveys as we work together to determine further interventions from a cultural perspective. Corporate culture is a large part of what makes an organisation – and I’m happy to make a difference, daily.

What’s your favourite part of the job?

Being in a space where what I do makes a direct impact – changing the way people experience work for the better, hence helping employees live well.

Tell us about one memorable experience in your time at Prudential so far.

I like how Prudential invests in its employees. I was given the opportunity to attend a 2-day Human-Centred Design Thinking Practitioner Programme and am constantly encouraged to use what I learn from there.
