Supporting Healthy and Active Ageing

Supporting our vulnerable seniors

Helping people get the most out of life includes supporting them in ageing well. This is important in Singapore where we have one of the world’s longest lifespans and a rapidly-ageing population.

At Prudential, we work with community partners to engage vulnerable seniors and help them be healthier, physically and mentally.

In 2020, due to the social distancing measures, our volunteers started virtual exercise and engagement sessions for the seniors to make them feel supported and part of the community in a very challenging year.

Our volunteers also actively participated in the government-led initiative to impart basic digital skills to the seniors, such as navigating smartphone features and online platforms, to help them stay connected.

With the support of our volunteers and partners, we will continue to work towards enabling healthy and active ageing in our community.
