Boys’ Brigade Share-a-Gift Project

The Boys’ Brigade Share-a-Gift Project, which has been running for 33 years, is a donation drive that seeks to help the under privileged by collecting food items and fulfilling the Christmas wishes of beneficiaries.

This is the 12th consecutive year that Prudential is back as the Presenting Sponsor for the Boy’s Brigade Share-a-Gift Project, pledging a total of S$200,000 to help vulnerable seniors and families who are facing food security and financial challenges. Prudential’s volunteers will pack and deliver food hampers to these beneficiaries and will be reaching out to 650 low-income families in the KidSTART programme and 2,000 vulnerable senior beneficiaries to support them in leading fulfilling lives.

The Spark Kindness Movement

Join us to light up the lives of the under-served community and provide them support to tide them through some of life’s difficulties. This movement aims to narrow the protection gap by providing underprivileged families financial support in the event of unfortunate demise.

FAQs for Spark Kindness Movement

Who does it cover?

The complimentary Accidental Death Insurance Coverage covers eligible parents from low-income family receiving social assistance from our community partner, AMKFSC Community Services Limited (AMKFSC). Both parents in the same family are eligible for this complimentary coverage if they:

  • Are Singaporean, Permanent Resident or transnational families with Singaporean children.
  • Are aged between 18 to 64 age last birthday
  • Have at least one child aged 0 to 18 years old.
  • Needy families due to circumstantial concerns may be considered on case-by-case basis.

What does it provide?
A 1-year renewable Accidental Death Insurance Coverage of S$10,000. In the unfortunate accidental death of the eligible parent, Prudential pays out S$10,000 upon approval of the claim.
Who is AMKFSC?
AMKFSC is a leading community-based social service agency, which provides a holistic range of services to support children, youths, families and seniors at multiple touchpoints across Singapore. AMKFSC operates four family service centres across Ang Mo Kio, Sengkang and Punggol.
How can I participate in the Spark Kindness Movement?
Purchase PRUActive Protect or PRUCancer 360 policy during the campaign period from 1 December 2020 to 31 December 2020 to be eligible for the policy matching scheme. The policy must be submitted to and incepted by Prudential during the campaign period.
How will I know if my policy has paid it forward?
Policyowners will receive an email notification within 1 month from the campaign end date.
