Health Screening FAQs
How can I book a health screening appointment under Doctor Anywhere (DA)?
To make a health screening appointment with Doctor Anywhere, follow these steps:
- Visit www.prudential.com.sg/ppc-screening
- Select “Doctor Anywhere Services” call to action button to view the health screening packages
- Click on the arrow next to Doctor Anywhere logo to view the health screening packages
- To book a Health Screening appointment, click on the "Request Health Screening Appointment" button below the packages table. To book a Vaccination appointment, click on the "Request Vaccination Appointment".

You will be directed to the validation page to check if you have an in force PRUShield plan or are eligible under PRUPanel Connect. To check your eligibility, you will need to provide the policyholder’s information (* mandatory fields):
- Last 4 characters of your NRIC*
- Date of birth*
- Gender*
- If you have an in force PRUShield plan, please select “Health Screening” and select “Doctor Anywhere” call to action button.
- If you have an in force PRUExtra Premier, PRUExtra Premier CoPay or PRUExtra Preferred CoPay plan (eligible under PRUPanel Connect programme), and your PRUPanel Connect eCard is displayed, Select "Health Screening” and select “Doctor Anywhere” call to action button.

Will Prudential have access to any of my medical reports obtained under DA Health Screening?
All medical reports of policyholders obtained under DA Health Screening are confidential and Doctor Anywhere will not be sharing the policyholder’s medical information or test reports with Prudential.
Can I choose my preferred appointment time?
Yes, you can select your preferred time slot from the available appointment timings during the health screening registration process.
Is it possible to reschedule my appointment after it has been scheduled?
For home-based DA Health Screening appointments:
If you need to reschedule your home-based DA Health Screening appointment, please email healthscreening@doctoranywhere.com at least 48 hours prior to your scheduled appointment time.
For on-site clinic DA Health Screening appointments:
If you need to reschedule your on-site clinic DA Health Screening appointment, please refer to the confirmation email and click on the link provided in your email. If you need to urgently reschedule within 48 hours of your appointment, please contact DA’s medical concierge team at +6531585050 from Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm. Please note that DA’s medical concierge team is not available on weekends and public holidays. Alternatively, you may contact the clinic where the appointment booking is scheduled.
What do I need to bring for the DA Health Screening and Vaccination appointment?
For identification purposes, please bring one of the following:
- Proof of confirmation email (softcopy is acceptable)
- The purchase receipt attached in the confirmation email
- Your NRIC, work permit, passport, or any other form of valid identification
- Any relevant health documents (previous medical reports, if any) you would like to share with our doctor
Can I add additional blood and diagnostic tests to my health screening?
Yes, you can add additional tests by requesting them through our on-site clinic or home-based mobile team. They will assist you with the arrangements.
You will still be able to request for additional tests after booking has been made. Payment will be made separately via PayNow.
All vaccinations are available as an add-on to Health Screening Packages or on a Standalone basis.
How long does it take to complete a health screening?
The duration of a health screening depends on the type and complexity of the package:
- For home-based screenings: Approximately 15 to 30 minutes.
- For on-site clinic screenings: Approximately 20 to 45 minutes.
How are urine and stool samples collected? What is the latest time that I can submit the samples?
For home-based screenings:
Once your appointment is confirmed, the specimen containers will be mailed to your home address. The package will take up to 5 business days to arrive.
- Stool samples may be collected on the day of or one day before your appointment. If you are collecting your sample the day before, do note that you should keep the sample in your fridge overnight.
- Urine samples must be collected on the same day of your appointment. The sample should be collected 'mid-stream' to reduce the risk of bacteria contamination; and should fill more than half of the container.
- Our mobile team will collect your samples on the day of your screening.
For on-site clinic screenings:
If you have opted in for a urine and/or stool test, the specimen containers will be provided to you on the day of your appointment.
- If you are unable to produce the required samples during your appointment, you can drop off your samples at the same clinic another day when they are ready. Please only provide same-day samples.
Do take note of the following timings to drop off your samples:
- Clinic Collection of Sample on Weekdays: Before 1500h
- Clinic Collection of Sample on Weekends: Before 1100h
- Please also refer to our clinic operating hours here to ensure that the clinic is open when you drop off the samples and avoid lunch hour as the clinic will be closed
When and how will I receive my DA health screening results?
Once all Health Screening tests are completed and samples submitted, you will receive an email within 2 calendar weeks to inform you that the health screening report is ready. The Health Screening results will then be uploaded onto the DA app. If you have not received the email, please contact us at healthscreening@doctoranywhere.com
How will the doctor review my DA health screening results with me?
The review of your health screening results can only be done over a video consultation on the DA app. No on-site clinic consultations will be allowed. You will receive an email with the instructions on how to download the DA app and schedule the GP’s review for post health screening review.
When will I receive a receipt from Doctor Anywhere, and how do I make payment for the DA health screening?
For home-based services:
Full payment is required via credit card (Visa/Mastercard) upon booking your health screening appointment. You will receive an acknowledgement email immediately containing the receipt upon submission of the booking form. Please check your junk folder in case you have not received the email.
For on-site clinic services:
Full payment is required when you register at the on-site clinic on the day of your appointment. The acceptable payment modes include credit card (Visa/Mastercard) and PayNow. A receipt will be issued by the clinic after payment has been made.
Can I get a refund for my Health Screening after my payment has been made?
Refunds will not be allowed. However, DA will review refund requests on a case-by-case basis. You may contact us at healthscreening@doctoranywhere.com.
What are the screening timings and address for the health screening services?
For home-based appointments:

Will my Adult and travel vaccination records be automatically updated?
Your Adult and travel vaccination records will automatically be uploaded to HealthHub. If you wish to include this information in your DA app, you can manually upload and update your immunisation status under 'Health Records' in the 'History' section of your account.
Are there any side effects of adult/travel vaccines that I should be aware of?
It is normal for you to experience any of the following symptoms:
- Soreness, slight redness, and lump over the injection site (should clear within a few days)
- Slight fever for a day or two
How can I relieve the discomfort of common side effects such as fever, pain, and swelling that may come after a vaccination?
If you experience flu-like symptoms, you can take medication such as paracetamol or ibuprofen. Placing a cold, wet cloth over the injection site will help reduce pain, redness, or swelling.
What signs should prompt me to see a GP after the vaccination?
Please see a GP if you experience any of the following:
- When side effects persist for more than a few days.
- A high fever (>38 deg C) or a fever that has persisted for more than 48 hours (2 days) despite taking medication.
- Severe allergic reactions where you experience difficulties in breathing, itchy skin rash, swelling around lips, eyes, and face, weakness, dizziness, or a fast heart rate.

I just took my COVID-19 vaccine injection. Are there any complications if I were to take another one now?
You should not take any other vaccines 14 days before of after the COVID-19 vaccine.
Can I do a vaccination after recovering from COVID-19?
Yes, however we recommend that you speak with a GP to make sure that you are ready to do a vaccination after recovering from COVID-19.

Child and Senior Vaccinations
Is my child eligible for subsidised home-based Child vaccinations?
Full subsidies are available for home-based Child vaccinations recommended under the National Childhood Immunisation Schedule (NCIS) for eligible Singaporean children from 2 to 18 months. Please refer to NCIS for full Terms and Conditions.
Does my child need to be a PRUShield policyholder to enjoy fully-subsidised vaccination?
Singaporean children between 2 to 18 months will be eligible for full subsidies if he/she is the Life Assured of the PRUShield policy.
What are the available home-based Vaccination timings?
Mon – Fri: 0900h – 1300h, 1300h – 1700h
Sat: 0900h – 1300h
There will be no home-based appointments on Sundays and Public Holidays.
Will my child/senior’s vaccination records be automatically updated?

When is it not suitable for my Child to be vaccinated?
Most children are fit for immunisation, but if your child is currently having a high fever or has had a previous serious reaction to certain vaccines, please consult a GP/paediatrician for further advice.

If the child has already started the vaccination at a polyclinic, can the parent still sign up for the vaccination services by DA?
Yes, the parent can still sign up for the child vaccination by DA. The parent can request an appointment through Prudential website. Upon booking appointment, it is required for the parent to upload the required details from the health booklet. This is for the medical team at DA to review the vaccination schedule, administer the next vaccination and developmental screening as per schedule.
Who will administer the home-based Child vaccination?
A certified nurse will administer the Child vaccination on the schedule that do not require milestone developmental screening.
A certified doctor will administer the Child vaccination on the schedule that require milestone developmental screening.
Is milestone developmental Child screening included and if so, who does the screening?
Milestone developmental screening is included. The screening is done by a certified doctor.
Must the parent register for all subsequent home-based child vaccination appointments?
Yes, the parent should use the same booking link to book all future home-based child vaccination appointments.
Why am I unable to make an appointment 3 months in advance?
Appointment booking is only available not more than 2.5 months in advance.
Can a child with medical condition participate in this programme?

Can seniors who are on medications such as blood thinning receive the vaccination?
Yes. You may wish to reach out to the DA helpdesk at mobilemed@doctoranywhere.com if you have more medical queries.
