What is PRUFirst Promise?
- A bundled maternity plan consisting of PRUMum and PRUActive Life III. This plan is for expecting mums who are between 13 to 36 weeks of their pregnancy.
- PRUMum provides coverage for pregnancy complications, congenital illnesses, mental wellness care, gestational diabetes mellitus and hospital care benefits.
- Transfer of PRUActive Life III from mum to baby without underwriting5, providing baby comprehensive protection against Death, Terminal Illness and Total and Permanent Disability.

Early Crisis Care (PRUActive Life III)

- Cover Baby against a multitude of Juvenile Medical Conditions such as ADHD, Dyslexia and Autism
- Can only be added if Crisis Care is added
Crisis Care (PRUActive Life III)
- Option to enhance coverage up to 5x
- Get coverage for an extensive number of late stage medical conditions10
- Receive payout on serious illness or accident that affects major organs resulting to admission in intensive care unit (ICU)11

1Coverage for assisted pregnancies conceived through In Vitro Fertilization (IVF), Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection (ICSI), Intrauterine Insemination (IUI) and Intracervical Insemination (ICI) starts from week 28 to 35 of pregnancy, and will go through normal underwriting.
2Payout for Psychological Consultations is up to S$200. The Insured can receive up to 5% sum assured with Postpartum Depression diagnosis.

3Coverage for Gestational Diabetes Mellitus (GDM) Conditions includes GDM resulting in Foetal Macrosomia and Neonatal Hypoglycaemia, Type II DM developed 6-8 weeks after birth and pregnancy complications accompanied by GDM.
4Hospital care accelerator benefit is paid out from the same sum assured as that of the hospital care for the life assured benefit. If the hospital care benefit for the life assured was claimed previously, the amount we pay under this benefit will be 100% of the original sum assured less the claim amount previously paid out. Insured will receive payout up to 100% sum assured if she is hospitalised (includes ICU and HDU) for a consecutive period of 30 days or admitted to ICU for 1 day or more.

8Early Stage and Intermediate Stage benefits payout under Early Crisis Cover (PRUActive Life III) will reduce the PRUActive Life III policy sum assured. If the sum assured of both PRUActive Life III and Early Crisis Cover (PRUActive Life III) is the same and a benefit payout for 100% of the sum assured from Early Crisis Cover (PRUActive Life III) is made, the PRUActive Life III policy and the Early Crisis Cover (PRUActive Life III) benefit will terminate. A claim under the Crisis Cover (PRUActive Life III) benefit within the PRUActive Life III policy could result in either a reduction of sum assured or termination of Early Crisis Cover (PRUActive Life III).

10Last stage medical conditions benefits payout under Crisis Cover (PRUActive Life III) will reduce the PRUActive Life III policy sum assured. 11Applicable only when insured undergoes surgery of any of the vital organs (heart, lung, brain, kidney, liver) as a result of illness or accident and as a result of the surgery, the insured is admitted to ICU for 3 consecutive days. Excluding surgery due to organ donation. Subject to cap of S$100,000 per life assured. Only 1 claim is payable per policy.
